We had such a fantastic time at Mariner’s for our anniversary. The food was delicious, the service was great, and management is top notch. Definitely exceeded our expectations! Thank you to our server Rhea and the owner Keri for making this a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!
I always thoroughly enjoy the Mariner I was taken out there on a date for my birthday tonight. The service was excellent the food was excellent and the wine was excellent! We started with the crab and corn bisque soup, did a spring salad with feta cheese and honey mustard, and my meal was the most delicious seafood platter cooked to perfection! The breaded coating on the fried items was just so delish, I just can't even tell ya.... They have a really nice selection of steaks out there, as well as bird, oysters, seafood, soups, pasta selections, salads & great appetizers also.
Really enjoyed our night! The bartender was great and the food was delicious. The seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back. We ate at the bar but will sit outside next time to enjoy the gorgeous view of the lake.
I made reservations for our one year anniversary for this place. It was on a Tuesday night and not that busy. The sun setting over the lake was perfect. From the moment we walked inside, it felt fancy. Which is what I was hoping for. Although the table next to us were some old guys who looked like they just got off of work, we didn't let that bother us. Our server was great. She gave us each a glass of champagne for our anniversary! We ordered a half dozen "Charbroiled Oysters". I liked them but my wife didn't. She was hoping they would be like Drago's, but they were made different. She did love her 18oz Ribeye! I enjoyed my "Steak Oscar". It was delicious! For dessert, I decided to just get a cocktail. Their "Let's Get Toasted" was so awesome! Our server toasted the marshmallow right at our table! It was a great night. Side note: our white car was covered with bugs and mosquitoes, so don't park near the light poles!!!
This is a beautiful surprise. The outside is adorable, somewhat humble looking…..my kind of place. The inside was the Wow! factor…..also my kind of place! Beautiful setting, beautiful sunset view, matching service, food so good. We are from Fort Worth with second home in Toledo Bend. This will be our dinner venue each visit! My regards to the owners and chef!
A couple of months ago, my husband and I decided to try a new place and we decided on Mariner's. We love it here. They have three different seating areas. Outside, the cove (I think that's what they call it), and the main dining area. Our favorite is outside, unfortunately it's too cold to sit outside now. The restaurant sits on the bank of the Sibley Lake and the scenery is wonderful. The food is excellent. My husbands favorite is the ribeye. I always try to choose something different. The lemon drops are fantastic! Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner here this evening, and everything about the experience exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was absolutely enchanting—made even more special by a stunning sunset view from our table that created a truly romantic setting. The food was outstanding. My wife ordered the Ahi Poke Bowl and said it was one of the best dishes she’s ever had. I went with the 28 oz Ribeye—enormous, perfectly cooked, and incredibly flavorful. Every bite was delicious. Service was equally impressive. We were greeted by a charming young college-aged hostess, and our server was attentive, friendly, and very helpful throughout the evening without ever being intrusive. From the ambiance to the food to the service, this was an exceptional dining experience. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food in a beautiful, romantic setting.
